The plain terms for booking with us.
1. Who you are booking with
Selah Day Spa & Wellness is the premises at 4444 US Hwy 190 W, Building A, Livingston, Texas, operated by Christi Esteves, Licensed Esthetician (Texas licence #1939424). The other practitioners who work from Selah — Elizabeth P. (LMT #129624, Esthetician) and Samuel Q. (LMT #141588) — are independent businesses. When you book with them you contract with them directly, on their own booking system and terms, and payment goes to them. Selah is not a party to those appointments.
2. Booking and deposits
- Appointments with Christi are booked through GlossGenius. Your booking is confirmed when the booking system confirms it.
- New clients pay a deposit on some longer facials. The amount is shown on the service card on this site and again on the booking page before you confirm. Returning clients do not pay a deposit.
- Deposits are applied to the cost of the service on the day.
- Services, prices and availability can change. The price shown on the booking page at the time you confirm is the price that applies.
3. Cancellations and late arrivals
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and no-shows, carry a fee of 50% of the scheduled total. Where a deposit was paid it is applied to this fee. The balance is due before your next booking.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we will need to reschedule you so the next client is not kept waiting; the late-cancellation fee may apply.
- If we have to cancel, we will tell you as early as we can and refund any deposit in full or move it to a new date — your choice.
4. Payment
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay in person. Card payments are processed by GlossGenius; Selah does not store your card details.
- Buy now, pay later is offered at checkout on bookings from $50 to $4,000 through a third-party provider, subject to their approval and terms.
- Gift cards, where offered, are redeemable for services only and are not exchangeable for cash except where the law requires it.
5. Memberships
- Spa Basic ($80/month) and Spa Lux ($149/month) are billed monthly through GlossGenius and include the services listed on this site at the time you join. Both exclude ProCell Therapies.
- Member discounts apply automatically at checkout when you book with Christi.
- Included facials do not roll over unless we agree otherwise in writing. Membership terms, pausing and cancellation are handled in GlossGenius; contact us and we will help.
6. Health and suitability
- You agree to tell your practitioner about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, recent procedures or skin sensitivities before a service begins, and to complete any intake or consent form asked of you.
- A practitioner may decline or modify a service if they judge it unsuitable for you. Where a service cannot proceed for a reason you told us about in advance, no fee applies.
- Services are cosmetic and for relaxation. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for advice from a physician.
- Services for anyone under 18 require a parent or guardian to book, consent, and be present.
7. The porch
The covered porch is open during spa hours to clients and visitors alike. Bring your own coffee. Please keep noise low for clients in treatment, supervise children, leave it as you found it, and follow any request from staff. Use of the porch is at your own risk and we may ask anyone to leave.
8. This website
- Content on this site is provided for information about Selah and is owned by Selah Day Spa & Wellness or used under licence. Stock photography is credited in our asset records and does not depict staff or clients.
- Reviews shown are quoted from public Google reviews. Ratings and counts are updated periodically and may lag the live figure on Google.
- We try to keep hours, prices and service details accurate, but the booking page is authoritative if the two differ.
- Links to third-party services (booking, payments, maps, social media) are provided for convenience; their terms and privacy policies apply on their sites. See our privacy policy.
- To the extent permitted by Texas law, Selah is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Polk County, Texas, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
