Questions

Is a HydroFacial the same as a HydraFacial?

Most people mean the same thing by both spellings: a machine-assisted facial that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and infuses hydration in one session. HydraFacial is a registered trademark belonging to a particular device manufacturer. The treatment at Selah is Christi's HydroFacial, which uses gentle hydro-infusion technology to do those same four things. If you searched for a hydrafacial in Livingston, Texas, this is the treatment you were looking for.

What is a HydroFacial?

A multi-step facial that uses hydro-infusion to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin in one sitting. There is no downtime, and most people go straight back to their day afterwards.

Which level should I book?

The Signature is the standard 60-minute treatment. The Deluxe adds dermaplaning and red light therapy over 75 minutes. The Platinum+ adds facial contouring and oxygen infusion over 90 minutes. If you are unsure, book a skin care consultation first.

Is a deposit required?

New clients pay a deposit on the Deluxe ($110), Platinum+ ($150) and Sculpt & Tone EMS ($75). Returning clients do not. The amount is shown again before you confirm.

How often should I have one?

That depends on your skin. Christi will tell you what she would actually recommend at your appointment rather than sell you a course up front.

Who performs it?

Christi Esteves, a licensed Texas esthetician, licence #1939424.
